El origen del apellido TORREALBA El apellido Torrealba es muy antiguo y procede de la zona rioJana, donde se estableció procedente de los Torralba aragoneses.  Según Fernando González-Doria en su "Diccionario heráldico y nobiliario de los reinos de España", el apellido tuvo su primitiva casa solar en Aragón, de donde pasó a La Rioja con la forma Torrealba.  La historia del apellido Torrealba cabe remontarse en los lejanos tiempos de la Reconquista donde los ejércitos cristianos ocupaban las tierras que durante siglos habían sido dominadas por los musulmanes.
